[Peace-presence] JOIN THE MOLLY IVINS BRIGADE IN THE 4th OF JULY PARADE!

COME MARCH IN THE  RENO4th OF JULY PARADE !The Molly Ivins Pots 'n' Pans Brigade and Flamingos for Peacewill be marching (behind identifying banners) in the parade, which starts at 10:00am this Friday. The Brigade was very well received in last year's 4th of July and Veterans' Day parades.The parade will form in the large lot between Sierra and Virginia Streets and between Court and Liberty Streets. Be there NO LATER THAN 9:45 amWe are #36 in line - look for our sign If you'd like to carry a lawn flamingo (we have only 15 of them), please wear pink. If you'd like to bring a pot and a large spoon, we will provide earplugs. We suggest wearing the ol' red white and blue. Comfortable shoes and sunblock might help. If you're unable to walk the length of the parade (6 or 7 blocks), we'll have a vehicle, capacity 6.
