COME MARCH IN THE RENO

FOURTH OF JULY PARADE !

The _Molly Ivins Pots 'n' Pans Brigade _and _Flamingos for Peace_

will be marching (behind identifying banners) in the parade, which 
starts at 10:00am this Friday. Last year, in both the Fourth of July 
_AND_ the Veterans Day parades, the Brigade was very well received by 
onlookers, so you can expect a really fun time.

The parade will form in the large lot between Sierra and Virginia 
Streets, south of Court Street and north of the parking lot belonging to 
the Nevada State Bank on Liberty Street. You must be there _NO LATER 
THAN 9:45 am_ -- look for the number 36. If you'd like to carry a lawn 
flamingo (we have only 15 of them), please wear pink. If you'd like to 
bring a pot and a large spoon (we will provide earplugs), please wear 
red and/or white/ and/or blue. Remember to wear comfortable shoes and 
protection from the sun. If you are unable to walk the length of the 
parade (6 or 7 blocks), a vehicle with the capacity for 6 passengers is
