  PRESS RELEASE: TRAININGS IN NONVIOLENCE TO TAKE PLACE IN RENO.
   
  WHAT: On March 3, 6:30-8:30pm, and on March 8, 10-2pm, discussions and trainings in nonviolence will be held in Reno. The trainings are being conducted to give people resources as we prepare for several scenarios that may occur during the many actions that might take place to protest the war in Iraq. People will be given the tools to handle violence in a nonviolent way, and will learn how nonviolent communication can effectively be used to communicate ideas and resolve conflict.
     
  WHERE: The March 3 training will take place at the First United Methodist Church, located in downtown Reno on First and West Streets. The March 8th training wil take place at UNR. 
   
  WHO: The trainings are being put on by the Great Basin Peace and Social Justice Network. They are free and open to the public.
