[Peace-presence] scnat shows on Monday, 9/10

Two shows being taped on sncat that might inerest everyone~~
  1. 7pm-8pm : Interview with Joe Galata about his efforts to stop abuses of the private student loan indstry - Sallie Mae has been offereing incentives to colleges to entice students into taking out their loans....loans that come with interest rates that skyrocket to 18% and more (although the materail that students get doesn't really talk about  this). Direct student Federal loans come with 6-8% interest. 
     Sallie Mae has put thousands of students into debt, making their lives a nightmare, as penalties are added onto debt and harrassing techniques used for collection. Furthermore Sallie Mae owns their own collection agencies!
   
   2  8:30-9:30pm  Bob T. and Lee Dazey will be talk about Electric vehicles...and how this type of althernative transportation can have an impact on global warming and our environment!
   
   We would love a studio audience for both or either. Sncat is at 4024 Kietze Lane in Reno.
