[Peace-presence] Obama Town Hall 10/18 -- lets have a big "Voters for Peace" presence

Peace Action ALERT!

 

Barack Obama is coming to town this Thursday at lunchtime.  There should be
lots of media coverage.

Let's have a big "Voters for Peace" presence.  

 

I'll have "Voters4Peace" stickers for people to wear and pass out to people
attending.

 

We can also ask Obama to strengthen his plans to end the Iraq war.

 

Currently Obama is saying he would draw down forces at the rate of "one or
two" brigades a month,

with a goal of getting them all out by the end of 2008.  (There are
currently 20 brigades in Iraq.)

He hasn't really said what would happen with the non-combat troops that are
over there.
