Here is the Letter of Support which will be read during Friday's  
event.  See below for press release.

A CALL FOR COMMUNITY RESPECT

We, the members of the community, businesses, churches, organizations  
and groups listed below, hereby invite all members of the community  
to join with other members of the community, businesses, churches,  
organizations and groups who hereby invite all members of the  
community to join us in calling for orderly, peaceful and fair  
solutions to the immigration issues facing our community, our state,  
and our nation today.

We do not believe that enforcement raids are a solution to the  
immigration issues facing our community. We recognize that measures  
which target one segment of our community traumatize the entire  
community and engender mistrust and antagonism. We are deeply  
saddened by the suffering our community has endured as a result. We  
do not and will never support any act of violence and hatred  
committed by any member of the community against others and denounce  
any call by anybody to commit such acts.

We call for unity, dignity, respect for human and civil rights,  
opportunity and security for all. We ask that you join us in healing  
our community and in calling for fair, just and comprehensive  
immigration reform that provides a path to legalization for those who  
work and contribute to the well-being of the United States. We ask  
that you join us in supporting passage of the Dream Act which  
provides a path to citizenship for immigrant children who acquire a  
college education and/or serve in our country's military. We ask you  
to support due process and respect for the rights of children and  
families.

We thank you for joining us. May our diverse community be blessed and  
may this country continue to strive to be the land of freedom and  
opportunity.
