World Can’t Wait responded to Howard Zinn’s call “Impeachment by the People” that the people must take initiative, because the Congress isn’t, and hold “peoples’ impeachment hearings”. 



“Impeachment hearings all over the country could excite and energize the peace movement. They would make headlines, and could push reluctant members of Congress in both parties to do what the Constitution provides for and what the present circumstances demand: the impeachment and removal from office of George Bush and Dick Cheney.”



World Can’t Wait is throwing in all we can to have the call to impeach Bush and Cheney sounded across the country as part of creating the political repudiation of their program.



Town meetings are being held over the next six weeks, and we urge you to plan yours, based on the content of the Call to Drive Out the Bush Regime. I’ll be speaking tonight at:
