Rally to end Iraq War on Friday

A rally to end the Iraq War is scheduled for 10 a.m.
Friday at the First United Methodist Church, 209 West
1st St., in Reno.

All are invited to attend. Local clergymen will kick
off a six-week national project called America Speaks
Out on the War, which will highlight different
Americans who are calling for a responsible end to the
war.

Participating are: Rev. John Auer of First United
Methodist, Rev. Glenn Taylor, Sr., of Greater Light
Christian Center, Rev. Bill Chrystal of First
Congregational Church and Father Chuck Durante, priest
of Our Lady of Wisdom. They will urge U.S. Sen. John
Ensign, R-Nev., and U.S. Rep. Dean Heller, R-Carson
City to change their position supported the war.
