Hi All:
We'll gather to watch Our Only President's speech about Iraq Wednesday
(January 10) at 6:00 p.m. at Bully's Sports Bar at the southwest corner of
N. McCarran and Pyramid. This is so that we can stroll next door, to the
sidewalk in front of the military recruiters' office, to respond to the
speech in front of some media. The media advisory is below. Contact Lisa
(info below) if you have any questions. I hope to see you Wednesday night.
-Chris

Members of the Reno Anti-War Coalition (http://renopeace.
<http://renopeace.org/rawc.htm> org/rawc.htm) will be available to respond
to President Bush's "Iraq Strategy Speech," on Wednesday, January 10, at
approximately 6:30 p.m. (immediately after the President's 6 p.m. speech) in
front of the military recruiting station in the Raley's/Bully's plaza at the
southwest corner of N. McCarran and Pyramid streets in Sparks.

President Bush will address the nation Wednesday evening with a strategy
regarding his catastrophic nearly-four-year-long war against Iraq. The Reno
Anti-War Coalition opposed this disastrous war along with the rest of the
world back in February and March, 2003. Today most Americans oppose the
war, most Iraqis oppose the war, and the U.S. government acknowledges the
war in Iraq is contributing to global terror, not fighting it (www.nytimes.

Wednesday members of the coalition will draw attention to the war's costs to
Americans, Iraqis and the world, and will respond to the President's most
recent proposal regarding his continuing war.
Members of the Reno Anti-War Coalition will watch the speech at Bully's
sports bar, which is part of the shopping plaza with the recruiting station.
Members will be available on the sidewalk in front of the recruiting station
immediately after the speech is concluded.
