FACT SCARIER THAN FICTION

RENO, NV -- Dead by asphyxiation, strangulation, hypothermia or blunt
force beating – forms of torture acknowledged and used by the U.S.
Government on more than 27 detainees in Iraq and Afghanistan. Come
costumed as the dead and rally in support of humanity and human rights
law to let U.S. leaders know they should stay out of the International
War Crimes Tribunal. This haunting is prompted by the passage this
month of the Military Commissions Act which prohibits any person from
invoking the Geneva Conventions or their protocols as a source of rights
in any action in any US court. Further, the act legalizes actions
similar to those that lead to the deaths of 27 individuals in U.S. custody.
